Hello, this is Terry from Casa Grande, AZ. When I lived in Illinois I did IT work for 23 years. Started out as a Cobol Progammer, then systems analyst, and then IT operations manager. After being on call 24/7 for several years I went back into programming. Then for a few years I supported sales force automation systems and communications servers which support 400+ remote users around the country. My job was downsized in 2006 and I moved to Arizona. I am now a computer tech at an elementary school district in rural Arizona. Even with proxy servers, filters, and Symantec Enpoint Protection - the teachers still receive malware. I know how to use Malwarebytes and I usually can find malware using a command prompt and editing the registry - I would like to know how to use combofix and OTL. I can manually eliminate many malware infections, but I have found some malware to be immune to my manual procedures.

Thanks Houndmom. I work for a school district and filters prevent us from going to many sites, even work related sites. At the school district we mostly have to use SEP and manually deleting files to cure malware. Worst case we re-image the hard drive.

I have applied to the GeekPolice Academy.
