Disappearing free space

Hi as a new member I wonder if anyone can suggest what might be happening with the amount of free space on my C-drive which has gone down by over 1GB in last week or so although i have only downloaded/created a couple of small (2-3 pages) of documents.

It may be caused by temporary files building up. Here's a great app I use to clean them out:
