Getting rid of threats on new computer

You guys helped me out with my old computer and I figured I could come here again for more help. I recently got a new computer and while I was on a site I've been on before...something popped up and said I have threats. So I scanned and it found 22 threats. Weird because I haven't been on anything to put them on there or opened anything that could put them there....of course who really knows now a days. Anyway...stupid scanner...it was just a trial version and I couldn't remove any of them. So Now I'm here for your help. Can you help me find out if I really do have 22 threats (or any at all) and help me get rid of them if I do?

I can't figure out how to turn off my Norton Internet Security thing. I read the instructions that were linked to but Norton is saying that my computer's secure...so I'm not sure if there really are threats on here. Ugh. ._.;
