"Quote/Edit/!"-buttons top right post

Apparently top right someone elses posts, there are only "Quote/!"-buttons. Top right your own posts there are "Quote/Edit/!"-buttons... at least for a while... At some point the "Edit"-button seems to dissappear... When? Why? Can I get it back? How?

The edit permission is removed after a certain number of hours after you've made your post. If you would like to edit your post, please PM one of the staff members or me.
