Basically my pc seems to have had a complete overrun of viruses. And I mean ALOT, I deleted 195 infected files yesterday (ran avast full bootup scan) and today I have still more. Some of the more apparent ones are the 'google redirect' virus, 'msrstart exe' virus and the 'recycler' virus... and thats just a few. I was running as admin for somthing and obviously did not fully check the files I downloaded. But suddenly I had 100's of them. Does anyone have any idea of what to do? Both my memory sticks are now also infected... which I would format but my current pc is running constant antivirus software and I do not have the administrative privilages to do it on the current PC I am on. Basically any help would be appreciated Smile... - I also ran malwarebites and am running a full scan again - Thankyou for your time Smile...

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
