Hello,
A friend is having an issue with their PC where the PC runs extremely slow and crashes. Task Manager shows that a process called SVC Host.exe is using 99% of the CPU power.
A little research has suggested this may be either virus/malware or a corrupt registry but obviously with 99% of the CPU sapped by this process it won't run a virus scan and I have no idea what to do if its a registry issue.
Can anyone shed any light and (hopefully) a solution?
Thanks in advance.
PS - Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, wasn't sure which would be the best fit.
