Hi, I hope someone can help. I have the win32.Ramnit.H virus. It's corrupted my Virgin Media Antivirus and won't allow me to access the internet (I'm using my partner's laptop). I booted into safemode and ran a scan prior to Virgin Antivirus dying and disabled my restorepoints before restarting, but no joy. In desperation I decided to wipe my drive but when I try to boot from my XP disk it gives me stop 0x0000007 error. Please help! Thank you.

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Thank you for your help, but before I was able to implement it my partner solved the problem by finding another windows xp disk and reformatting my drive. I appreciate you coming back to me though, you guys are a great resource, thank you Big Grin
