Internet Explorer Script Error -- g_Logger is undefined

Hi! I keep getting this error pop up while I'm running my computer. I'm not sure if anything is prompting it, but it becomes a bit annoying after a while. This is what it says:

Start Internet Explorer. Tools >> Internet Options >> Advanced tab >> Scroll through the list of options until you see the heading labelled Browsing

Check Disable Script Debugging Internet Explorer and Disable Script Debugging (Other). When you have done this, click OK. You should no longer see script error messages.

What I'm wondering is what is it telling me and why is it -- now all of a sudden -- occuring? And will I be missing valuable information if I disable the script debugging?

It most likely isn't "all of the sudden". If you think back there may have been an update done in Internet Explorer that you might not remember. The only type of data you could loose (if any at possible) would be passwords, websites you've been visiting, and any usernames that you had stored. In other words, you may have to log into the sites you visit. What Dr. Inferno is telling you will not harm your computer.

Hi, I too am getting this error message. I read the advice to resolve the problem, but when I went to check the boxes found they had already been selected. I have also had a problem installing the latest Windows updates. Tried the recommended repair but that just hangs too. Any suggestions gratefully received!!

i've unchecked them, then checked them again, the annoying thing is, i'm running on firefox! give it a go
