My computer hard drive(ATA) was clicking and then the computer would shut down when turned on. I have just put a new Hard Drive(SATA ) in and now when I turn on there is no clicking but the the computer still shuts down after a few seconds. I did notice (when I was putting in the new hard drive) that the NBFAN1 (Northbridge Chipset fan) support system cooling fan would not turn freely (no power on) and I wondered if that could cause the computer to shut down after a few seconds?
The motherboard is a MSI MS-7125 ATX

Hi. You probably have a dying hard drive.

Check your model and sounds on this page: http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php
