Removing XP

I got a new laptop with windows XP installed on it, and today I installed windows 7 onto it, but on a different partition. I no longer have any of the CD's so is there a way I can remove XP, and just have Windows 7?

I guess you could do a Clean Install follow this article and do a clean install with upgrade disk. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/31402-clean-install-upgrade-windows-7-version.html. Make sure you backup the data and format but drive.
