I have an Asus P5Q Deluxe motherB. No Problems. But my PC was noisy.I thaught it Was the PSU,until a discovered that the chipset fan was doing a lot of noise .It says somewhere that it is an "optional chipset fan". I removed it and it is wonderful.Is there a risk to remove this fan? I'm almost ready to take that risk .At work we had all the time the heatsink of the chipset on HP Desktop machines that became loose and were not fastened on the MOBO and it seemed not to be a poblem.What do you think ? thanks for your input . gilh
