This is a really handy music player that I like. It can organize the music when you know how to use the interface of the player. I actually like it better than any of the other players for music, but there is one downside to getting this... It conflicts with the other media players for being the default media player for most things.

Right now, WinAmp is on version 5.7.x and it's a stable player. It supports many of the other audio files that may not be seen in other players, like Windows Media Player.

It is compatible with Windows OS.

Windows Media Player for songs.
VLC for videos.
iTunes for syncing my iPhone and sometimes listening to songs.
Quicktime for watching movie trailers on Apple's trailer site.

Winamp works for me, although it does have issues with some file formats, for which I use "Media Player Classic". I love Winamp because, like yakitatefreak said, it organizes all my stuff. The only issue I've ever had isn't with winamp - every time I open Rhapsody, it associates certain filetypes that I want to keep associated to WinAmp, which does not automatically reassociate. *headdesk*

....does anyone know how to get Rhapsody to stop that?
