my asus computer fails to start up when i push the power button nothing happens i swapped with a known good power supply and nothing i checked the power switch with a meter it checked ok i removed all componets hd,dvd,graphics card ect still nothing i jumped pin 14&15 on the motherboard and the computer appeared to start (nothing was hooked up) fans came on ect it appeares my motherboard is bad are there any more checks also how do i know what will fit mine is m2v-tvm/v-m2v890/dp-mb i was looking at a ga-m68m s2p on pricewatch as a possibility if it would work are there any tutorials on bulding your own computer thanks for any help

You have just one jumper near cable for Power On button on motherboard, check it.
