Edit: Sorry, I forgot to add... My computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad t500.

Hi all!

I'm new to these forums, so I apologize if I'm not clear enough or am forgetting to include something.

Well, my problem seems to be that my computer's performance suddenly seems to be going down the drain. When I first got it, it would play through games like Company of Heroes with an average frame-rate of 20 FPS, which was good enough to play online without lagging and bringing down the game for other people. Recently though, I've found that in the middle of a game, it would randomly start lagging or freeze up all together. This happens without fail, regardless of how much is going on on the screen. Before the game lags, there will be no lag or jumping or other signs of slowness. My computer has never done this before, so I wonder if it is possible that I have worn it out? I've checked in the forums for the games and they couldn't figure it out because my computer meets all of the specifications and shouldn't be doing this on the settings that I have.

Any help would be appreciated! I don't know what info I'm supposed to provide, but I'll do my best:
OS: Windows Vista Enterprise, SP2, 32-Bit
Windows Experience Index: 5.4
Processor: Intel(R) Core2 Duo CPU P8700 @2.53GHz
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650

Thanks for your time!
