Recently you helped me remove a virus from computer. and recommended that I completely reinstall everything...Please help me to do this!!!

I am have decided that starting over is the best option...could you possibly assist me taking every off and starting over!

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

I tried to reinstall Windows XP and it said that the Hal.dll file was missing; so I found it on the internet and copied to the Windows/System32/ directory and it still won't work...

I know that a little knowledge is dangerous; I hope that I am not making things worse...I just desperately need to fix this computer...don't have shop money...I am actually trying to fix computer so that I can finish a contract so that I can get paid!!!

Are you still able to boot normally?

Please re-open Malwarebytes, click the Update tab, and click Check for Updates. Then, click the Scanner tab, select Perform Quick Scan, and press Scan.
