Lost screen saver screen is all white with icons

I was on the web and went out of google. The computer started running really slow, and then my screen changed white with icons. I turned off my computer and started it again. Same thing showed up. Do I have a virus. I do have Norton 360. Can someone help me? I would like restore my screen saver and get my computer running back up to speed. Can someone suggest what I should do. Thank you.

I am lost at trying to dowload the log to this site. I was trying to fix this myself, but am over my head. Will take my computer to get it looked at.

Can you transfer the file with a flash drive or CD, from a clean computer on to the infected one?

We can try to fix the problem here. We have dealt with that issue a lot.
