Formatted the HDD including Dell files and fresh install of XP.
Now working.
What a mess.
I have a computer windows xp service pack 3 that has outlook express and I can't get it to connect to the server, I get the message socket error 10060 error number 0x900CCCOE.Outlook Express is version 6 and connects no issue if not sending and downloads e-mail ok, just will not send.
I also tried Microsoft Outlook but it was the same works great as long as you don't send anything.
When I try the e-mail settings in a computer that is basically identical,the account will work with no issues.
so the issue is with the computer.
any help will be well received.
