laptop screen broken

Hi, the screen to my laptop is broken, so I've had it connected to an external monitor. Yesterday, the last program I ran was malwarebytes, and after the restart, the external monitor won't show anything.. I've already tried fn+f4, I've tried restarting the laptop, but I get nothing, just a black monitor. It won't even show me the boot screen.

try reseating ur ram, i find that its usally not the problem with laptops but there no harm in trying
