I'm using laptop HP6730s, windows XP. Untill now I didn't have any problem connecting from anywhere to the net...home...net cafe..wireless..cable..adsl. But!!!!Recently I live in a new place and there is no chance to connect to the net no matter what. The PC is connected but the laptop is not possible. I tried resetting the router.the settings on the lappy are ok..no proxy..I turned off the firewall the antivirus...I even put the same Ip address as the PC and it's still the same. OK before changing the IP address it was showing acquiring network address now after I turned off automatically obtain IP address and put the same address as on the PC I get that the network is connected but when I try to browse or log in to msn..skype etc. I can't as if it;s not connected at all. PLEASE HELP ANYONE.PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE.
