There is a weird sound coming from my speakers when it's on and also connected to the pc. When it is not connected to the pc, there is no sound.

The problem started when i was playing a game and it froze. When i restarted the pc the noise from the speakers started.

Can it be a problem with my sound card?

Probably the driver corrupted, due to overload. Try to reinstall the driver, let me know what you come up with.

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

So you uninstalled the driver first then reinstalled the driver.

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

more_horiz
yea i did that...

the sound has changed... instead of getting the continuous sound... now i hear the same sound but it pauses and then continues...

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

Do you know how to check the sound card inside?

If so, does it look normal?

Make sure it appears to be installed correctly.

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

more_horiz
I can try, but how does it look normal??
Yes, it is installed correctly.

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

more_horiz
Normally if it is not installed correctly, it will be noticeable. It will appear to be crooked or may look damaged at the connector end.

I need more info about this issue, as it seems to be odd at the moment.

A few questions:

1. Do you keep a cell phone nearby while on the computer?

2. Do you know if there is objects like a CB or two-way radio nearby or any other communications device?

3. Other than the frozen game, did you have any viruses or spyware? Did you check for malware recently?

descriptionWeird Sound Coming From Speakers EmptyRe: Weird Sound Coming From Speakers

Sometimes i would have the cell phone and a cordless phone nearby. Lately though, about 2 weeks before this problem, i kept the cordless phone on the same desk with the pc.

I dont think there is a two way radio nearby.

I checked for viruses but did not find any.

Here's a log from hijack this.
