I'm advisor here, but this problem has surpassed me. Namely, when i try to power-up computer I get a BIOS settings screen. I reset the BIOS, I unplug all from the computer and compiled again with the cleaning of dust, and again the same problem. I do not know- maybe my mother board are corrupted, or to something else? It always open the BIOS screen when starting up, can not load Windows, i dont even get Windows Logon screen, nothing! I even changed the Primary Slave and the HDD and again does not work. A HDD is a new, SATA, everything is well connected. The problem still occurs, please help me if you have already encountered this problem.

Thank you

Hello,

The BIOS screen, do you mean you enter the blue BIOS screen automatically at startup?

Heya,

Yeah, that is problem.

That's strange. Make sure that your Del button is being pressed.

Can you try taking the battery out of the motherboard for about 20 minutes to see if it works?

Yeah, i know. I checked, changed keyboard too.

I tried and failed. But somehow I managed to get rid of that boring screen. I disassembled the computer and took out all the components, clean-up processor from dust, returned and joined again and the problem disappeared.

BUT that's not all, I got a new problem. Computers does not recognize the hard drive, hard drive is SATA, and all is well connected, checked, but the problem is still there. After much thinking I realized that the problem is the connectors on the motherboard. So i have to get Service Support from PC Shop.

Thank anyway Smile...

Where is the jumper set to?

That could be the issue here, because if the jumper is set to a different mode, then only the setup screen will appear. No other activity will happen.

Do you know what I mean?

Odd. Can you try to move it, then start the computer?

Since motherboards have a few SATA ports, try switching them.

Did you try the remove all hardware except keyboard method?

Pull out a RAM stick and check the pins on the edge and around the black modules..are any missing?

Try a different keyboard as well. If a key is sticking, then that may be the cause.

Also, could be your video card. I have know for computers to fail to boot past the BIOS because of video card issues. I recommend to have the video card tested on another person's computer, to see if it is the culprit.

Let me know how the above goes, please.
