I,m sure this question has been asked a million times before, just shows how fragile the Windows XP Help and Support function is! I think it was my fault that it has a problem, I downloaded some ecommerce software only to find it was not suitable so uninstalled it again. It was after doing that when the Help and Support function stopped working, it shows the hourglass for a split second and then nothing, no error message either.
I have tried looking at regedit to see if the file HELPCTR.EXE is there and it is and the correct value string also, I have also searched this Forum and found two entries offering a fix which I have tried but it has not solved the problem. Short of doing a format and reinstalling the OS is there another fix I can use, not that I really need to refer to the Help and Support much, I.m just one of those people that likes everything to work as it should.
A solution would be much appreciated!
