when i try to install win xp on my laptop it tells me that there was no hard drive found.
i have tryed reflashing the bios 5 times 3 different verions
i'm like 9001% its not the harddrive
when i boot in to mini xp from hirens bot cd it boots up find and recogniese the harddrive. i have tryed running many tests on the hard drive and non of them find any problems
i'm downloading linux i dont think the os is the problem but i'm all out of ideas now
any ideas will be apreciated

Hello,

In your BIOS, you have to disable an option to enable better SATA performance to install Windows XP.

OMG Doctor Inferno I LOVE U (no homo:P) u have no idea how long i have been working on this.. the option was to nativity support sata (face palm) that dose not make any sense to me but what ever, as long as it works
