virus is stopping me from executing anything

I found out I had a virus that stops me from executing add/remove programs, as well as other virus programs (malware, avg, spyboot) etc. I am not able to get to the internet. I am able to get to safe mode networking. I tried to run the same viruses in networking at it would not run there in safe mode.. What should i do now.

• A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.

Download SREng

• Extract it to Desktop and double click SREngLdr.EXE to run it
  
• Select System Repair from the left pane.
  
• Click on File Association
  
• Select all entries that has an Error status click [Repair]

I left for vacation on Dec 23 so was not able to execute your recommendation until today Dec 28th. I ran both executables and was able to run my virus scan program malware that eliminated the virus. Thank you!! :smile2:

Yes, i am able to run all programs.

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from here.
(Note: if you already have the program installed, just follow the directions. No need to re-download or re-install!)

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

(Note: if you already have the program installed, open Malwarebytes from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut, click the Update tab, and click Check for Updates, before doing the scan as instructed below!)

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Extra Note)
  
• Please save the log to a location you will remember.
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  
• Copy and paste the entire report in your next reply.
  

Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
