Must Protect Comp

I looked through some of the posts and I think I have a list of what I want to download:

AVIRA
SAS (super antispyware)
malwarebytes antimalware (are spyware and malware same things?)
comodo firewall
trend micro hackthis

I have 2 comps, one is a Vista 64 bit home premium (I might downgrade or upgrade to XP or W7) and the other is XP home sp3. I think XP has a firewall, but I don't know if Vista does or if that firewall is better than comodo. Any tips and suggestions, please and thank you : )

For additional security you can have both SAS and Malwarebytes. HijackThis is not needed for you as it's use by malware professionals to analyze. Vista has a firewall built into it's OS, but would be better if you have a 3rd party firewall, though it's really your choice.
