My computer keeps crashing

Sometimes it says Hardware malfunction..call your hardware vender for support..system has halted..other times it just shuts down and restarts again. Then when I look at the error list sometimes it says DCOM got error (1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-00C04FB926AF). If it is hardware which piece? and what is DCOM ? I already changed the power supply thinking it was that going out every 20 min. or so. It help for a couple of days but now it has started again. It is a intel pent.4 w/ 3.4 ghz cpu. I need help with troubleshooting this, I hope you can help.

Remove any adapters that are not required to start the computer and run Windows. In many cases, you can start your computer with only the drive subsystem controller and the video adapter.
