Connected, but cannoted view webpages.

I've seen this issue a lot on here, and all of the help has been to reset winsock, and/or run a patch. I've tried everything I could find on here, and still nothing. The computer worked fine when on my wired network here, but after transferring it to my mother's, where she had dial-up, then attempted to switch over to satellite... to no avail, it stopped working. I've reconnected it to the network here as well, and it just won't work.

The network center states it is connected, but whenever I try and access a website, it states that it cannot be found.
Any help?? I'm at wit's end here...

- Operating System for computer would be Vista Home Basic

Tried it yesterday, though I'll try it again.

Also, I tried the netsh int ip reset reset.log bit too...

It reads out:
Reseting Echo Request, failed.
Access is denied.

Reseting Interface, OK!
A reboot is required to complete this action.



Tried these steps as well, in CMD:
ipconfig /flushdns

nbtstat -R

nbtstat -RR

netsh int reset all

netsh int ip reset

netsh winsock reset
