Need help with removing Antivirus Live

Help! I'm new to this site too and my first posting. This rouge virus seems to be very intelligent about protecting itself from removal. The problem I am having following any of the removal instructions I've seen posted are as follows:
1. When trying to disable proxy settings under the LAN tab you can press the as many times as you want but the key has been disabled or at least will not highlite and the use proxy server cannot be unchecked.
2. nȯne of the antivirus programs can be accessed to be downloaded NOR can I install from a flashdrive. This F'kr is very territorial!
3. I cannot open ANY security, system tools, or any other programs to be able to block, delete, isolate, etc. I see the cleaner suggestions but I'm not sure how to get to the registry>
4. This happened to an HP Netbook through a Belkin Wireless router. No antimalware, antispyware or any type antivirus was active on the this Windows XP system. I foolishly thought the Wireless Firewall would protect us.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
  

Can this be accomplished through a flashdrive? since i cannot open or download anything through the infected computer

Yeah, it should be able to, OTL doesn't need to install, just double click and run.

Ok, that seems to have worked but now don't I risk bringing the infected files from the netbook onto my desktop through the flashdrive???

Not really, autorun infections have different signs.
