Good ol' Antivirus System Pro

I read pretty much everything I could find on the forums about this, and still am not having success removing this program. I downloaded the Malwarebytes program and did both the quick scan and full scan multiple times, but there are no bad files found.

I can only do things in Safe Mode, and any downloading (malwarebytes, hijackthis, etc) must be done on a thumbdrive on another computer and can only be accessed and used in Safe Mode on the infected computer.

The HijackThis log is listed below. Thankfully I was able to do the scan in normal mode. The only way to do so was to immediately open it as soon as windows opened up...I have about 10 seconds before Antivirus System Pro starts up and blocks everything, and since this is such a small program I was able to open it up and use it before it was too late. Rename ComboFix.exe to commy.exe before you save it to your Desktop

• Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools A guide to do this can be found here
  
• Click Start>Run then copy paste the following command into the Run box & click OK "%userprofile%\desktop\commy.exe" /stepdel
  
• As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. This will not install in Vista. Just continue scanning, and skip the console install.
  
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the contents of C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

In the meantime, while waiting for a response, I read some other information about this and tried to continue to solve the problem myself. I downloaded and used McAfee Stinger, and it seems to have taken care of the issue at this time. In your experience, do you think the problem should be fully solved just by using Stinger, or should I take further steps?
