About 2 weeks ago the good folk here at Geekpolice helped my remove the nasty alpha pro virus from my computer. Since then I have been virus free and been singing their praises to all who would listen :-) Well about an hour ago as I was happily reading the latest articles over at Snopes.com it shows up again!! First there was a prompt from Macafee letting me know something unauthorized was going on, and the next thing I know that dreaded alpha pro screen pops up! I turned off the computer right away, opened up again in safemode and ran the maleware full scan. The scan turned up 3 infected files and I deleted them and restarted my computer. Thankfully that seems to have nipped it in the bud, because everything seems OK now. I just can't believe how sneaky and vicious this virus is!!! Evil or enraged
At least I knew I could always come limping back here for help. Thanks again geekpolice!!

The site you were on maybe fine, but some sites use ads from different hosting companies because of cheaper prices, etc rather than go for the well moderated ads from companies like Google ads.

I hate that! I am going to have to find some tougher security for my computer because mcafee is not doing the job. Any recommendations?
