Microsoft's recent release of Windows 7 hit the ground running, with US sales in its opening days blasting past those of its Vista predecessor, according to the NPD Group.
According market research firm reported on Thursday, The sales of Windows 7 in the days following its Oct 22 release were 234% higher than those during the times of Vista when it was released into the market.
