Unwanted Hewlett and Packard problem

Hi,
can any one help me to remove two very annoying HP popups. I have tried to get around this on the HP site, and guess what, my Query was deleted from their forum.

when my system starts up I get an extremely annoying blue HP balloon popup in the lower right corner of my display stating my HP photosmart C4200 printer is ready. Sounds harmless enough, but this popup compromises my security and has created big problems on my startup, ie my security is held closed until the HP file executes, so I then get a systray balloon that tells me that my firewall is closed, this is only a lag of 500 milliseconds before the firewall then opens does its job, It also prevents me from opening internet explorer and running some other programs until the hp popup appears and the same is closed, this HP rubbish happens well into startup and I have to sit there and wait before I can fully use my OS.
For the trouble this has caused (Thank you HP for destroying the integrety of my system) I am prepared to throw my Photosmart printer into the round filing cabinet (rubbish bin) and buy an Epsom like I should have done in the first place

My advice to other people who get sucked in to a HP Printer is to be aware that HP will write heaps of crap programs to run their annoying advertising popups with out any regards to your private property (computer), this will happen when you do current driver upgrades and totally without your permission.

the other problem is every time I print I get the other annoying HP ink cartridge popup.
If anyone can help me remove the HP software for these popups I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks very much Doc. I asked for help with a fix, not only did you do that you also gave me the bonus of speeding up my startup. It goes like greased lightning now and no more rotten HP Popups. you will definitely be hearing from me on the donation page. I would have in the end taken this to the computer shop and would have paid through the nose for the fix.
