Hello.

After a series of problems with my computer running Windows Vista 32 bit, I decided to erase EVERYTHING and reset the whole computer. It wouldn't turn on, or do anything. So I used my Vista Install disk, deleted everything on the harddrive, and re-installed vista. Worked fine for a few hours. Then randomly shut down. So I tried turning it on, it said Windows Failed to start (I've been getting this error for months) and let me ethier do Safe mode, or Start windows normally. Both just make the computer shut down.

More info will be given as needed.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi

Seems like a memory problem.

Please read the following: set up Memtest, then download Memtest86+ from here.

I think booting from this disk and doing a memory test might get you on the right track. If bad memory, replace the memory, and the system should work.

See if it detects memory errors.

This could also be the signs of a failing power supply, or your CPU overheating.
You should be able to monitor your temps in the bios, you could also try swapping out your PSU
