PC running slow even after using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, AVG scan, Ad-Aware scan to remove infections, using Tweaknow regcleaner, Regseeker and CCleaner to clean up registry, removing unwanted programs and then Deframenting my Hard Drive.

Then after installing 'AIDA32 - Personal System Information' I found that there are 2 programs installed that could not be detected by Windows or Revo Uninstaller. These programs are 'orgasm' and 'DX-Ball 1.09'. I don't know what they are and cannot remove them. Please help, here is my log:

After running AIDA32 I am still getting the 2 programs mentioned appearing on the list.

After doing the things you mentioned I installed 1GB of RAM and a graphics card from an unused PC. My PC is now a lot faster but I am worried that there may be something lurking in the background.

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

Thank You

  • Please download DDS by sUBs to your Desktop (Important!!) from one of these locations:
    Link 1
    Link 2
  • Double click DDS.scr to run.
  • When complete, two logs will open. Save both of the report to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste DDS.txt back here, I don't need to see attach.txt just yet.

Hello.

  • Download combofix from here
    Link 1
    Link 2

    1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:

    * Tools->Options->Main tab
    * Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".

    2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:

Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow CF_download_FF

Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow CF_download_rename

    3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
    4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
    5. Close any open browsers.
    6. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

  • We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.
  • See HERE for how to disable your AV.
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  • Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  • ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed.
***It's strongly recommended to have the Recovery Console installed before doing any malware removal.***

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will automatically proceed with its scan.

  • The Recovery Console provides a recovery/repair mode should a problem occur during a Combofix run.

Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow Rcauto10

  • Allow ComboFix to download the Recovery Console.
  • Accept the End-User License Agreement.
  • The Recovery Console will be installed.
  • You will then get this next prompt that asks if you want to continue the malware scan, select yes

Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow Whatne10

  • Allow combofix to run
  • Post C:\combofix.txt back here.

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

I've tried posting the log but can't because it's too big. I also don't know how to attach the file to a post. What do I do?

Save this as CFScript.txt, save it to your desktop also.
Then drag and drop CFScript.txt into combofix as seen below:
Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow Sfxdaw

This will open combofix again, agree to it's terms and allow it to run.
It may want to reboot after it's done. (It will warn you if it wants to)
Post the resulting log back here.

Click Start > Run and copy/paste the following bolded text into the Run box and click OK:

ComboFix /u

Orgasm Program and DX-Ball 1.09, PC running slow CF_Cleanup

This will also reset your restore points.

How is the machine running now?

PC is now working fine, thank you, but the two programs are still appearing on the DDS Attach log and the AIDA32 installed applications list. Should I worry about this?

In the time since my last post, my horny brother decided to surf some porn, managed to infect the pc with Personal Antivirus, I used Anti-Malware to remove this crap. Do I need to do anymore?

Finally, does a pc naturally get slower over time even if it is free of infections and it is maintained properly using the system tools?

Your PC will never be 100% free of malware as their are new rogues created everyday. It is recommended that you use a good anti virus along with a firewall with HIPS protection (Host Intrusion Prevention System). What anti virus are you using now?
