Infected with Trojanspm/lx

Im on a different computer because my main computer was infected with trojanspm/lx or well atleast it says it does, i powered down my computer and have tried to power it back up and now it wont let me get in my computer, it just takes me to a blue screen. Help please

When you get onto the F8 menu, can you choose "Last known good configuration" rather than safe mode and let me know if that works.

Hey, i did what you said to no avail, i only got as far as seeing my taskbar with the start button but before i can do anything it throws me straight back to the blue screen... Im beginning to think this virus has over run my computer inside and out =(..but what is this trojanspm/lx?

It's theifware, displays fake alerts to goad the user into buying their fake products.

Normally they don't cause BSOD, that defeats the entire purpose of theifware, there could be something else going on though.

Please download this file: Avira Rescue Disc

1. Insert a black CD into your CD draw.
   
2. Double click the rescuecd.exe file on your Desktop.
   
3. Hit the "Burn CD" button and allow it to burn, it shouldn't take too long.
   
4. Next, reboot your computer, keep the CD inside the draw.
   
5. Your computer should boot from the CD and boot to the Avira rescue disc.

Before we go any further, id like to thank you ahead of time for taking time to help me out here!....so you want me to download avira on my good computer, burn it to a blank cd, put inside my infected computer, then reboot with the disc inside?

haha oh, well it seems like im out of blank cd's though i could of sworn i had a whole stack, i will most likely be getting one from a friend tomorrow, as of now i have downloaded avira so im ready to go upon reception of the blank cd, so as of now thank you for all your help again so far! i will be inquiring again when i receive my blank disc, thank you!
