Google Virus

I've had this problem for awhile now. I ran some virus scans before, but they didn't seem to do the trick so ignored it since it didn't seem like that big of a deal. But today I had a System Security problem and taking care of that, so I might as well get help for this one.

Google works okay, and when I search for something the results pop up fine. But when I go to click a result it will sometimes take me to an ad site. The sites URL's are usually different but the icon is always the same green one. I can't seem to find a solution to the problem and I really don't know what is causing it. I had this before the System Security one so I'm not sure that when I get rid of System Security the google one will still be there. Any help would be appreciated.

It will get redirected to Tofseeka,clickmountain or any random sites. Thats a known issue. As far as i know, it wont be a part of system security scareware. So Moderators here will have to take care of your System Security & Google Redirect Issue too.

I am also having this issue, forcing me to use google chrome. Any help with getting rid of this would be appreciated.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

My virus is actually long gone, Thanks you guys! RonBalone if you're having the same issue you need to make your own thread, the staff will go step by step to get rid of the virus for you.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
