desktop / safe mode

Here goes from the begining

i had some malware that i could not get rid off in normal mode, so i went into safe mode and got rid of it then suddenly me desktop whent black in safe mode, so reboot try tapping f8 and reboot in normal mode.......but still boots in safe mode, so tried ctrl /shift / esc and type in explorer.exe it said no file exists, i have to much info on my computer just to redo windows i depseratly need help???? can i repair from an xp disc if so how do i do it i have all my business info on it and i`m in deep dodo...........please help

right i have managed to get out of safe mode but in task manager it say windows cant find explorer.exe how can i resolve this HELP

If you boot from a Windows XP disk, there is an option to repair Windows.
