Hi,
I have a prob that I cant go to the virus/malware page about, My ma (86 yrs) lives by herself and the puter is her company. All she does and has on the pc is slot and hidden object games which help her pass the time and saves her blowing the pension at slot venues. She has a prob on her puter which I would like to help her with and does not have an internet connection. The prob is " packageupdate.cz.cc. " and the error message gives several references to Microsoft.netframework immediately after booting (operating system xp pro). I know that " packageupdate.cz.cc. " is a malicious site and I am hoping that someone can tell me where to find and remove this prob without internet access to my mothers computer if not, could you refer me to a program to remove this file or files. Thanks Pete.

I think you have given me the flick, or you have not read the article properly.
The computer in question is NOT on the INTERNET so nothing can be downloaded updated or posted. As a member of GeekPolice, I thought I could gain some technical advice as to what program can or possibly would have removed the problem in question. Obviously you cannot help me! Thanks for your brief concerns re this matter.

No, this is our procedure for the removal.
It can be done through a flash drive or CD through another computer with an internet connection. The programs can be downloaded onto the flash or CD, run on the infected computer. Then the logs from those programs can be posted onto the site in the same manner.

This is the safest method to clean your ma's computer.
