I see, manually delete ComboFix via Right Click-->Delete.

Much better, still a little slow. Firefox takes about a minute and a half to load. Which is better, but not as quick as it was before. I also don't seem to have any sound. Do you think the virus is now gone? I would really like to get some advice on programs I can remove and how to optimize my computer's performance. Also, what security anti-virus is the best to use. Things still seem slow. I'm using Firefox but I get a message that I have no firewall. The message also says AVG is turned off.

Yes, because we disabled it for the Combofix run.

I did all that and it seemed to work fine. I also re-enabled AVG. I also ran MBAM again and it found no infections. Any idea what might have happened to my sound. Should I keep and use Registry Repair or is that not good. What else do you recommend? Is there another forum I should use to try to clean/speed up my computer. Thank you very much for all your help. Don't use registry cleaners, because if they delete a needed system key, your OS will fail to work ever again.

We've killed what might be causing some slowness, so anything else that is slow could be down to low end hardware. If it is hardware, then you'll need to get more memory/RAM, etc.

So, of course, I used the Registry Repair Wizard I have and "fixed" like 88 things before I got your answer not to use registry cleaners. Now my computer is very slow again and when it closes windows it does it slowly and one line at a time. Here is the latest HijackThis log. I will uninstall my registry cleaner while I await your reply. Thank you.
