I am trying to install a gps softeware on my computer to update the maps. I keep getting an error saying that it can't find MSVCR80.dll; I know it is in my computer but do not know where it is looking for it.

open the start menu and find the search button and type in the file name

I did a search and found six results with msvcr80.dll: one is for my scanner/printer, another for system32, and the rest fall under winSxS.

not quite sure about this, but try copying one of the winSxS into your gps...but again, im not so sure so its better to contact ur manufacturer to be on the safe side Bow or Thanks
