Solved Space Cadet Pinball on Vista

Post by Eylicaino on Sun 04 May 2008, 8:30 am

Ok. I've found a download for the 3D Space Cadet Pinball and have recently installed in on my computer which sadly has Vista. This game (from my knowledge) comes with Windows 98 & XP. It works perfectly for those. On Vista, I cannot get the high scores to save after the window for the game closes. It saves throughout the time the window is open but as soon as it closes, all the high score information is wiped out. Is there anyway to make Vista save the scores?

Many apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section. However, this problem only occurs with Vista and not any other operating system.

It seems that you are having compatibility issues while running the game on Vista. There's actually nothing much we could do except provide you another download link.

Here's what I found, you might wanna give it a try:

If the above doesnt work, you can also try the Vista Compatibility Wizard.

To use the wizard,
#1 Click start and type Compatibility Wizard into the search bar.
#2 Follow the on screen instructions.

If this doesnt work, please come back here and report.
Remember; There is NO problem that cannot be fixed.
