Need help/spyware

Hi, I just reinstalled ad-aware because it wasn't updating and now it won't complete a scan. It keeps spinning while scanning my folders. Also, my PC is really running slowly and I keep getting low memory messages. I use Windows 2000 professional.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
