USB 2.0 port not working

Hi, can ya'll please help me again. My USB 2.0 ports are not working, I've looked on the Dell support site for drivers buy have had no luck. When I try to plug in my mp3 player it says that I must have a Hi speed port controller installed, or something very close to that. It worked fine before i had to reinstall windows on my system. Please help!

Anyone have any kind of suggestion. I've looked all over the dell support site, I feel like I've looked everywhere and can't find a thing.
