Printer trouble
Hey Guys
was wondering if any of you could help me out with a little printer problem im having?
I have had this Canon S300 for over two years, but hadn't taken it out of
the box until a couple of weeks ago or so. At first it worked fine but when
I pressed the power button to turn it off, it wouldn't turn off. I had to
turn off the surge suppressor it was pluged into to get it to turn off. Now
that I got it turned off, when I turned the surge suppressor back on and
tried to use the printer's power button to turn it on, it won't turn on.
Since it has been over 12 months, Canon won't provide technical support
so i guess im left to work it out myself so seems as that wasn't working im turning it over to you hehe
ANY IDEAS :?: Any suggestions would be much appreiciated, THANKS!

Re: Printer trouble
Sorry MaBear but It sounds like the printers 'hosed'
You could try checking your power connections to make sure there seated correctly, bypass the surge protector and connect direct to the outlet, and also check the power cable itself for any faults, but i dont like your chances!

Re: Printer trouble
Thankyou Scanner, you were right.
I took it to my uncles shop to get him to look at it and he said the same thing.
It must have been damaged in storage somehow.
Thanks for your help anyway.
