CPU makes sound during booting
Hi
My CPU makes sound during cold booting , i feel its the SMPS fan that is hitting somewhere and makes the noise , its over 2 months nowi have been noticing this sound
the sound is not there when i restart , what may be the problem ??

Its most likely the sleeves are worn on the CPU's heatsink fan (or the bearings if its that type).
Chips themselves dont make noises until they fail......They either work, or they dont (One day you just wont be able to get your system to POST, and after testing, you'll know its fried)

can u tell what to do to avoid that day
well actually i think its the smps fan thats makin the noise and not the cpu fan coz i heard it coming from the smps

To avoid possible component damage, replace any damaged fans asap!
You need to keep temperatures down to a workable level inside your case as excessive heat is the largest killer of CPU's and other vital devices!

Yea, if you don't pay attention to your fans, you'll have to call in the firefighters very soon.
