can i request for a site banner? it's for a plant information site...I'd like the format to be like this.

doc suggested a white and green color so anything that goes with those colors is ok.
And if it's ok, can i also have the .psd file? so that i can change the "text" part

the whole thing is the banner. I'll place it on the upper part of the sire, like a header.

Not very creative, but I need to find some vectors first before I attempt to actually make a background.

To successfully make a good website design, one must make sure that all your elements are harmonious. So I will recommend you(charvie) to use the same style throughout.

Safan's banner actually looks good and simple.

I added a soft focus effect to Safan's design so that the text catches more attention than the background.

There are three text boxes you will need to edit, for the main header. The shadow, the lighting and the text itself. You will need to hide the lighting layer to edit the main text layer.

When you are done, if you post here I think Doc will help add a focus for the text.

I'd prefer the font to be Arial.

I would use only one column, either on the left or on the right.

hmmm.....this is just a project site. I didn't upload it to be a real site in the web. but thanx for the option. if i'll be having a site in the future, i'll showcase it there.
