Welcome to the WWE/TNA thread. Here let's talk about wrestling. But, of course, keep it clean.

Also, don't post spoiler without [spoiler] tag, otherwise we will remove your post altogether. Keep it a mystery for those won't can't watch the shows till later after they air.

Possible Spoiler about Tonight's WWE Raw

Post by DragonMaster Jay on Mon 14 Sep 2009, 5:27 pm

Spoiler:
- There are rumors at RAW this afternoon about Batista's big announcement tonight. Sources say that he may be announcing a move to the SmackDown brand but that's not confirmed. With the loss of Jeff Hardy and temporary loss of Rey Mysterio, the brand is in need of big name babyfaces.

- Trish Stratus, tonight's special guest host for RAW, is rumored to be wrestling a match on tonight's live show from Canada. It's also rumored that she may plant the seeds for a future angle on tonight's show.

WWE's Breaking Point PPV screw

Post by DragonMaster Jay on Mon 14 Sep 2009, 5:29 pm

Spoiler:
- We apparently saw the second Montreal Screwjob tonight at the Breaking Point pay-per-view. In the main event, The Undertaker made CM Punk tap out with his Hell's Gate move to win the World Heavyweight Title. However, Tedd Long came out after that and reminded everyone that Vickie Guerrero banned the move months back and restarted the match.

Punk countered a Last Ride from Taker and locked on the Anaconda Vice. As soon as it was applied, the bell rang and Punk was announced the winner. He and the referee ran up the ramp where Teddy Long was standing smirking.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out on SmackDown this week.

Linda McMahon has stepped down as CEO for WWE...

Post by DragonMaster Jay on Wed 16 Sep 2009, 2:07 pm

In a new approach to run for United States Senate for the state of Conneticut, Linda McMahon has stepped down as CEO of the WWE. Vince McMahon has decided to assume the duties of both Chairman and CEO, which may leave him out of performing action continually. This may explain why Vince has not been in continual action on RAW or any other show.

Smackdown/WWE Superstars spoilers

Post by DragonMaster Jay on Wed 16 Sep 2009, 2:24 pm

Spoiler:
- Here are full WWE Superstars spoilers for this Thursday's show on WGN America:

Taped Before RAW:

* "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters b. Santino Marella by submission. Huge pop for Santino and an immediate "Santino" chant. Some quick comedy to start, but Masters hit a stalling vertical suplex after Santino couldn't get him up for a bodyslam. Masters locked in a bearhug and the crowd rallied behind the local boy. After seemingly breaking it, Masters reapplied the hold. Santino began his Hulk up routine. Marella applied a Masterlock on Masters, to which Chris broke free of quickly and applied the hold himself. The crowd was hugely into Santino, but he tapped out.

Taped Before SmackDown:

* Christian b. Paul Burchill. Zack Ryder was on commentary during the match.

* Dolph Ziggler b. Finlay.

SMACKDOWN FOR FRIDAY

Batista opened the show with a segment. Lead to Jericho coming out and receiving a spinebuster.

Scott Armstrong said he was told before-hand how the Submission match at Breaking Point was going to end. Vince McMahon told Teddy Long to apologize to the fans. This lead to a brief apology in the ring. Upon leaving ringside, Long was locked in his limo and driven away with Undertaker as the driver.

WWE Intercontinental champ John Morrison defeated Mike Knox.

Melina pinned WWE Women's champion Michelle McCool in a non-title match.

CM Punk had an in-ring segment. Same stuff he says every week about being straight edge.

Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Time.

Kane vs. Great Khali ended by DQ when Kane hit Khali with a chair. He then used the steel ringsteps on Khali's leg about five times. Khali did a stretcher job during the break.

Drew McIntyre beat up Charlie Haas, who was waiting for his opponent in the ring.

Batista defeated Chris Jericho after a Batista bomb.

The dark match main event was CM Punk vs. Undertaker ending in a no contest when Punk brought a chair into the ring, but Undertaker used it. Afterwards, he hit Punk with a chokeslam and two Tombstones.
