Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
WWE just recently send out a survey asking fans about possibly changing the name of their Judgment Day PPV. The list of names was: Riot Control, Multimania, WWE War Games, or keeping it Judgment Day.
Personally, the old school NWA War Games were some of my favorite matches. Sadly, I think the tradition of this type of match would be lost in WWE’s newer version. Plus, they already have Hell in a Cell and the Elimination Chamber. There’s no room for a 3rd steel cage type of match.

Why Did Vince McMahon Back CM Punk at Breaking Point to Screw Over Undertaker?
Friday Night Smackdown was off the hook this last past week. At the start of the show, GM Teddy Long was already in the ring. He was making announcements and making matches for Bragging Rights.
On cue, former Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk came down to the ring before Teddy had a chance to finish his announcements. Punk was upset that he wasn't going to give him his title rematch until Bragging Rights.
Instead, Punk was to face Batista that night on Smackdown. Someone wasn't really too happy with that. Punk got Punk'd that night as well.

Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
She's not really that attractive, and that storyline with Santino was pathetic.
She's too "manly" type for me, women need to have a body like Trish, and not her.
Biased, I know, but I don't care

lol
Yeah Trish would be the better choice. Kelly Kelly, too...
I guess anyone looking to be thrown around, would love Beth. lol

Yeah, and I don't like her curled hair in your picture there, I prefer someone with straightened blond hair, like Kelly Kelly.

That curled hair makes her look "princess-like". What a drag.
Kelly Kelly for sure.

Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
when was this thread made and 4 pages already!
I used to like wrestling, i really did until all the fake crappy stuff came out, with all the stupid stunts that so inhabit childrens minds nowadays, i feel sorry for the people who really did like it. But now it is too much about gimicks if you ask me. I have watched a few modern ones, and quite frankly some have been disgusting and others have been completely boring.
But each to their own, i would still like to know what compells you two to like it so much? Cus it seems you are the only two ever using this thread.

Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
Don't know if I said in this thread before, but WWE lowered their aim" to PG rating" so more people can watch, but that means lowering the standard us old timers used to love.
I prefer TNA over WWE on the basis that they show stuff WWE wont show you, and feels more realistic. As you said, WWE is too scripted, where as TNA are more on the anything goes when it comes to rivalry side.

Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
I think personally, Raw is the most scripted. Then, Smackdown and ECW has the most actual wrestling. That is why some of the least popular stars go on ECW, and the most popular go on Smackdown. Raw can only hold about 5 or 6 top-popular stars, because it would otherwise be too overwhelming.
I would venture to say REMOVE Chris Jericho from Raw shows. I know he is a Smackdown star, but I do not like him being on Raw.
It seems to me, WWE does this to their shows:
Raw is its highest rated - 65% of all work goes in to Raw.
Smackdown gets bottomed - 25% of all work goes in to Smackdown.
ECW gets unfair support - 10% of all work goes in to ECW.

Re: Official WWE/TNA wrestling Thread
I agree Dragon. The Smackdown ratings will sink like a rock should Vicky come back in power.
