Forum Rules [Read before Posting]
1. Do Not Double post, we don't always answer in time but we always get around to reading them so be patient. Post in the English language in all instances on this board unless the staff permits it in unique circumstances.
2. Before requesting support or anything else, use the 'search' feature listed at the top of this forum page to see if someone else has already covered it!
3. Don't reply to your own post to bump it up in the list. (This will hurt you in the Malware forum as we start from the oldest post and then work to the newest.)
4. Never request anything by private message or email, this makes no sense. Administrators and Moderators are instructed to ignore PM technical support requests.
5. Don't advertise your own website by posting the link, this will not be tolerated. No advertising of any form is allowed by members, be it through PM or Signatures.
6. You are not allowed to advertise your site (Not affiliated with GeekPolice Community) in your signature by text link, picture link or any other shape or form.
7. Don't post spam, 'pay per click' links or links that a user will profit from in any form or manner, doing this may get you banned.
8. Don't ridicule inexperienced users. Don't be abusive, threatening or intimidating in any way towards other members and staff.
9. Always try to be polite when asking something.
10. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. (No swearing allowed)
11. If you have any problems or issues with another member, contact a staff member in private (do not carry arguments onto the open board).
12. Hacking or enquiring about hacking e-mail accounts, web space accounts, ebay accounts, gaming accounts, yahoo or any other accounts in general, and also anything to do with private permissions manipulating is not allowed. The offending member may face a permanent ban from the forum.
13. A single member must own only one single profile here at GeekPolice. Owning more than one profile is strictly prohibited and the offending member will be banned, along with any of his/her other user names and corresponding IP's. If for any reason you want to change your user name or see a need to have more than one, contact a member of the staff to apply for this.
14.The Administration reserves the rights to reassign user names and free up any popular names already used by long term inactive, low post members (If requested).
15. Porn, nudity, child pornography, offensive posts & abuse, terrorism, politics, criminal or illegal activity related posts, discrimination against race or religion, religious posts etc! WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, users will be banned on the first sighting. Be sure of this!
16. Warez is not allowed on this forum and is strictly prohibited! [e.g. softwares, cracks, movies, music, games etc.]
17. Don't reply to spam topics, in doing so your post may be considered as spam itself. If you see a post you consider either spam or in breach of another rule, report the post to one of the specific forum moderators and we will deal with it from there.
18. Signatures should not be bigger than 365px by 150px in dimension. Try to refrain from more than 50kb in file size. (whichever is bigger) Total Signature & avatar sizes should not exceed 70kb in size.
19. You may not post any content that consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitations, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam."
20. Copying/ripping of articles/posts from GeekPolice.net is prohibited. If you wish to do so, contact any of our staffs and request for further information and add a link back to us.
21. Screamers are not allowed. (Pranks which take the form of Flash movies in the spirit of a shock site, designed to scare the viewer)

In case of violation of the rules above, your post may be deleted and you may be banned from GeekPolice altogether.

- Obscene
- Threatening
- Defamatory
- Hateful
- Invasive of privacy
- Infringing of intellectual property rights (such as copyright and trademark rights)
- Racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable
- Otherwise harmful or injurious to third parties
- Against Rules of subject you are talking about. (e.g. bots, hacks)
22. We maintain the right to do any of the following, at any time, with or without prior notice and permission:
- change, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of our Site;
- refuse, move, edit, or remove any Content;
- refuse to register any user name that may be deemed offensive;
- establish general practices and policies concerning the Site;
- restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any part of our Site;
- deactivate/delete ANY user account if we so see fit without explanation.
In case of violation of the rules above, your post may be deleted and you may be banned from GeekPolice altogether.
