Spread the word of GeekPolice to your friends via e-mail, word of mouth or through your blogs/social networks saying how good a service we provide! This will increase our exposure on search engines like Google, so that more people know about us.

A number people want buttons/userbars they can use to link back to us. One is clickable for forums in BBCode, another will be in HTML for websites.

Server Change!

Dear GeekPolice users,

Here at GeekPolice, we recently had an upgrade to IBM servers, and what was thought to be a good thing, and would have great effects for the site, the server staff at Forumotion have decided to change the server back to its original. Then, that server will be upgraded. Finally, it will make the site seriously slow, and make some pictures disappear. Estimated time: 2-3 days.

Thanks,

DragonMaster Jay

Attention: Clear Your Cache!

Dear GeekPolice users,

Due to the recent server upgrade and several site problems and recent downtimes, it seems the DNS issue has disappeared. However, some users may experience a latency on the site. This is normal.

To get rid of this latency, please do the following (write down if needed):

Log out of GeekPolice.net.

Go to your Internet Options:

The GeekPolice forums has a mod called a 'What You See Is What You Get' (WYSIWYG) Editor. It allows direct preview of your message in the message box or post editor.

To enable this feature, click the button to the top right of the message box. To disable, simply click it again.

If you want to bold a word, you won't see the word wrapped in [b][ /b] bold tags, instead the word will just be bold. If you are not sure what this actually is, ask it here.
